Moyasar Platform API

Moyasar Platform API allows trusted partners to create and activate new merchants within the Moyasar Payment Gateway without the need for human interaction.

Terminology

  • Platform: A platform is Moyasar partner that has access to the API and can register merchants.

  • Merchant: A merchant is a client for the Platform.

  • Entity: Each merchant has an associated entity, and in turn each entity has a Live Account and a Test Account.

For simplicity, merchant = entity and entity - merchant.

  • Live Account: A live account is the account used for actual (real) transactions.

API keys for the live account start with pk_live_ and sk_live_.

  • Test Account: A test account is the account used for test transactions and no charges are made to any account.

API keys for the test account start with pk_test_ and sk_test_.

  • Document: A document is a legal file or identification used to support the merchant during checks.

Expectations

Expectations

Moyasar expects the platform to do its due diligence and ensure a merchant is eligible for the service before creating or submitting any document to Moyasar.

To ensure quick and easy on-boarding process, you are required to upload all required information, too many bad merchants can result in delays in checks and response.

Managing Merchants

Managing Merchants

See the Managing Merchants section for the full merchant lifecycle: providing the required information, defining fees, managing documents, updating merchant info, handling rejection and hold, and deactivating a merchant.
